  • Cheap and spicy pasta arabiatta,chill

(Ingredients – chillis or chilli powder, 2 garlic bulbs or granules, basil leaves, chopped tomatoes penne pasta, salt)

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Add the chilli and garlic to the pan. After about a minute, add the basil leaves and gently wilt them in the flavoured oil.

Remove the garlic, basil and chilli from the pan and set aside. Add the chopped tomatoes to the frying pan.

Put the garlic, basil and chilli back in the pan with the tomatoes. Simmer for at least 10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened a little. Add salt to taste.

 

  • Chicken or mushroom fajitas 

(wraps, chicken or mushrooms, fajita mix, tomatoes, onions, dill, jalapenos, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper, cumin or cayenne pepper if you have any depedning on desired tatse/ spice/ personal preference) 

 – cheap salsa, frie fries onions in oil and peppers in olive oil, add chicken in fajita mix or homesade spice mix –  garlic for flavour, slasa is made by finely choping X, sevre with natural yogurt and wraps.

 

  • Cheese, tomato and ham tart –

(jus roll, tomato paste, cheese, ham pieces – alternatives mushroom, potato (cooked before adding to tart), kale, sweet potato all make good fillers, or extra tomato, peppers) add chillis or peppers for flavour – swap ham for peppers for veggie, place pastry in bowl and form tart shape using fork for intends inside, fill with tomato paste, cook for 10-15 on gas mark 7. Top with ham, cheese, – fill with choice of vegetable, kales, potatos, mushrooms all make great fillers – sprinkle with salt and pepper, oregano  or psice to personal tatse, and bake for further 10-12 minutes before serving.

 

  • pitta, cajun chicken and yogurt dressing or falafel

(pittas, chicken, onion powder, onion, thyme, paprika, cayenne, yoghurt, lemon juice, garlic/ granules, mayo or sour cream if desired. 

Cut chicken in thin slice and coat in seasoning mixed in bowl (oregano,thyme,paprika,chilli flakes, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper) – mix till thoroughly coated, while this is frying in the pan make your yogurt dressing ysing – Greek yogurt, lemon juice garlic granules or crushed (if you have a crusher), some of the chain mix, salt pepper and a tbsp of mayonnaise/ sour cream for a slightly creamier option) 

 

  • 1 or 2 large baking potatoes, jacket potato – simple with tuna and cheese, onions – chorizo and tomato, chilli – swap out with chickpeas for vegetarian aternative – cheese, greek yougurt, chillis chopped, onion, paprika, garlic

(mix all ingredients with yoghurt, bake potatoes for about an hour, mix cheese, onion and flat leaf parsely or cheaper alternative in a bowl, slice potatoes in half, take out centre and mixing c=with cheese, salt and pepper and onion, garlic – time is important so bake in microwave – wash potato, prick all over with fork so holes are made for steam to escape, place on plate with kitchen roll with another sheet on top – cook for 4 mins, turn over, Keep cokking in 1-2 minutes bursts until soft all the way through and cooked, skin should be wrinkled. Rub potatoes with oil and sea salt – oven for 10-15 for crisps skins.
