TN2 Magazine is the award-winning arts and culture magazine of Trinity College, Dublin. We are written for and by the Trinity College community and we are proudly affiliated with Trinity Publications and staffed by a talented team of student writers .

We accept submissions in the form of articles, reviews, photography and illustrations. 

Writing

So, you’re interested in arts and culture, and you want to write for Tn2? Whether you’re a student reviewing a book, recapping a television series, sharing your thoughts on the latest food or fashion trends, or you’ve been to a cultural event that we need to hear about, we’d be interested in hearing what you have to say.

Here’s a short breakdown to make things easier for you to submit and for us to process your contribution in a timely manner.

We prefer to receive submissions in the form of a google document with edits enabled. You can email us with your first time submissions by sharing your piece with editor@tn2magazine.ie, or the relevant section email. The document title should including the following information: YOUR NAME – SECTION – TITLE OF ARTICLE.

Your article will then go through two rounds of edits. Have a glance over the Student Publication Association’s style guide. This is the style guide we would like you to conform to to the best of your ability. Our copy-editors will be using this as their guide for edits— and, please note, we strive for the use of inclusive language in all our material.

Any edits will be given to you to look over before publication, and once we’ve all agreed on a final version, the piece will be scheduled for publishing. The article will go live on our site according to the schedule, and be linked to on all our social media accounts.

What if you want to write for us, but you don’t know what you want to write about? Well, if you head to any of our Writers’ Groups (divided by subject), our section editors often keep a curated list of topics they’d love to see written about! You can find them linked at the top of our Facebook page!

 

Photography and Illustrations

TN2 are always delighted to receive pitches and submissions from photographers and artists within the Trinity Community. Your work makes us beautiful. Whether you have a one-off piece for us, or would be interested in connecting on a more long-term basis to illustrate our ongoing articles, get in touch! .

We prefer high resolution, large-scale images sent as email attachments or direct links. Embedding your images into a Google doc or sending them through messenger distorts the quality.
